Microgreens: Pea Shoots -- 2.5oz

These beautiful microgreens are the younger stage of the pea plant with a similar yet delicate, slightly sweet flavor. High in antioxidants and phytonutrients, they are an excellent source of potassium plus vitamins A, B, C, E, calcium, thiamin, iron, magnesium, copper, manganese, chlorophyll, iron, niacin, phosphorus & amino acids. Pea microgreens have been cited to aid in diabetes, cancer prevention and overall heart health. 

Grown and harvested in Longmont by Fringe Farm from certified organic seeds and organic soil.  

How to eat: wash just before eating. Enjoy raw as a healthy snack or add to any dish. Great to add to salads, sandwiches or wraps. Try a fresh-tasting side dish of raw pea shoots drizzled with a vinaigrette! To maintain freshness, store dry greens in airtight container lined with a dry paper towel to reduce moisture and extend shelf life. Refrigerate.
